Essentially, this is a dynamic DNS service bound to the probe. If you choose "simple" the hostname will be something like p#####.probes.atlas.ripe.net <http://probes.atlas.ripe.net>, with the probe number. If you choose "obfuscated", the hostname will be something else. I don't know exactly what it looks like, but it's something less identifying.
