Initiating a TCP, UDP, and ICMP traceroutes from the same probe at the same time
Hi Folks, I am planning an experiment where I need each probe to perform TCP, UDP, and ICMP traceroutes at the same time. I could not see how I can do it using the Ripe Atlas website. Is there any way to do it? Best regards, Sent via RIPE Forum -- https://www.ripe.net/participate/mail/forum
AFAIK there is no way to force several measurements to be performed simultaneously. You can request a specific probe for immediate execution, but that doesn't guarantee that they will all be performed simultaneously or immediately -- the scheduler will have them be performed imminently. As far as I know what it sounds like you're asking for does not currently exist as a possibility. On Tuesday, September 27, 2016, Zakaria Al-Qudah <zakaria.alqudah@gmail.com> wrote:

Hello, There's no guarantee to execute them "at the same time", however you can align them pretty close to each other (maybe even in parallel) if you use one-offs and specify them together. Regards, Robert
