The green led is on and the orange is slowly flashing, my swith see the probe, bit Atlas always report it as down. I’ve the Probe ID 2199. What I’m supposed to do ? Best regards, Yoann Gini.

Can you still ping the probe from inside your network?

I had this problem with my Atlas probe a while ago when I was using an old Apple iPod power supply. Moving the probe to an otherwise unused, powered USB hub fixed the problem. James
Same problem here, since July 1. I've sent some debug info to the Atlas team, still waiting for answers. Replacing the power supply doesn't solved the problem. The probe seems to be stuck in an old firmware version (4310), after powerup acquires IP via DHCP, does some DNS queries, connects to some Atlas server using SSH to port 443. After some packets the connection seems to hang and the probe becomes quiet (it still answers "pings"). Side by side with another probe I'm hosting at the job and the behaviour is the same, the other probe works ok. As reference, I'm attaching a capture of the broken probe traffic after boot. Regards. It is not the same problem. Your probe seems to work fine except from one (important) part. I have no explanation for your probe's behavior. Something seems to have gone wrong with your ticket. I thought I asked Alastair to organize exchanging the probe. I that didn't happen. Sorry.
I've just power cycled it, let's see if it comes back online Sent from my Phone On 24/07/2012, at 12:22 AM, Philip Homburg <philip.homburg@ripe.net> wrote:
