Hi, we are currently doing some OS patching to some of our servers and they need a reboot. So some probes had to be disconnected. The numbers will go back to normal soon. Regards, Andreas

Hello, Please note that this number is not monotonically increasing. Probes come and go all the time, so small fluctuations are always expected. When we have "events" at our colo partners (network hickups, servers going down for reboots, etc.), a larger number of probes can get disconnected temporarily. They reconnect eventually -- depending on the actual issue this may take anything from a few minutes up to an hour or two. The number shown on the website always reflects the current reality (with some minutes of caching). Hope this helps, Robert
