Decreasing number of probes

Hey, I am currently running multiple scheduled measurements (ids: 85023653, 85023729, 85023782, 85023852). In the wizard, I selected the probes by area with the following settings: WW, 1000 probes. At the beginning of the measurements, mostly all probes reported, but meanwhile the number of probes reporting has decreased constantly. Is there an option to rotate the probes regularly to ensure a certain amount of active probes? Best regards, Felix Hoffmann

I can confirm we are working on it Right Now (TM) and plan to make it available in Q2 (2025 :-) ) For OP: in the meantime one can always remove old probes and add new ones using the API and the UI. Regards, Robert

Hello Robert, Will this apply to anchors measurement as well?

Hi Serhii, Anchoring mesh measurements are updated anytime a new anchor comes online. The new anchor is added to all mesh measurements and decommissisioned anchors are removed at that point in time as well. The anchoring probe measurements are not updated (ie new probes are not added over time). We are currently reviewing the probe anchoring measurements in general as we don't have enough probes to sustain the current rules (every anchor measured by 400 probes). We expect to have a proposal sometime in Q2-2025. Kind regards, Johan On Wed, 9 Apr 2025 at 11:35, Serhii Timofieiev via ripe-atlas < ripe-atlas@ripe.net> wrote:
