How to get a new USB stick ?
Hello, The SanDisk USB (4GB) provided with the RIPE Atlas probe don’t work anymore since more 5 days and the connection logs say “NO USB”. To check the USB stick, I plugged a personal one and since this time the probe is working again. I have this probe number 18685 since 2015-03-05. I would like know if the team could send me a new USB stick to replace the old one please or if I need to buy a new one myself ? Best regards, Élodie
As far as I'm aware it's self replacement. It should be 4GB+ otherwise will not work On 11 June 2016 at 19:26, Élodie de FranceServ Hébergement < admin@franceserv.fr> wrote:

I've had good luck making warranty claims with SanDisk.

I've had two of the RIPE-supplied Verbatim sticks die on me so far, so I've decided to buy a small supply of cheap sticks for quick replacement and see how these hold up. @Philip: How would I go about making a warranty claim when I don't have a purchase receipt and don't know when RIPE bought the Stick? Just for the record. I had the same no-usb error on SOS history with one of my probes. I corrected it by mounting the usb on a pc, deleting all partitions and place it back to the ripe atlas probe usb port. The atlas probe rebuilt the usb format automatically and the probe came back online. Sent via RIPE Forum -- https://www.ripe.net/participate/mail/forum
