[atlas] auto probe renewal

Hello, When I start a never-ending ping measurement with several probes like 20. What happened if several probes are going off-line ? Will Atlas remove the probes who are dead, and assign new to the measurement ? Or will the measurement die slowly ? I tried to find the answer in the documentation, without success. Thanks.
