Hi, I understand that from RIPE perspective disconnects/reconnects are not more than a degradation, and I acknowledge it is a non-critical and also free service. But then again my particular use case (perhaps also for others) - beside my willingness to cooperate in this worldwide community investing little resources (mostly electricity) - I also use the probes in a dashboard to monitor the performance of the 4 ISP’s I have appliances on. My dashboard now generates alarms several times a day because probes go down. This has raised my interest in other ways to construct my dashboard, for instance with a second opinion with probes from Globalping. I appreciate the efforts to improve reliability of the Atlas infra. Just now a third probe disconnected (1004467). Regards, Ernst J. Oud

Hello,
I can confirm that there's a problem at the moment with the controlling infrastructure. It is a different, previously unseen scenario for us. We'll keep the status page updated.
I'd also like to note that it's not mission critical if the probes disconnect: they are designed to handle these events, they will continue to run the defined measurements, reconnect when they can, and send in all the stored results. Of course in this state they cannot participate in immediate one-off measurements, so in that regard this is a degradation. Also, such events cause notifications (if the host set them up), and they can sometimes be annoying.

Same issue here, four of the anchors I manage for two different organizations are showing offline for the past 5 hours - is there something going on with the network?
IDs are - 6860 - 6909 - 6940 - 6918

Today my probes 60200 and 61071 experience several disconnects of upto an hour, both on controller ctr-dub-hw01.
It appears this supposedly fixed disfunction has not been completely fixed.
