No no, the probe does not need to learn it. The timezone offset can be derived from the latitude / longitude (provided by the probe owner during registration; currently available via probe API). As long as the geolocation does not change, so does the timezone offset. It's possible to do this in the analysis phase as well, but it takes time to calculate these offsets for ~9K probes. Therefore, was thinking, perhaps a field in the probe API would save time.
