Hi, I'll do what I can to help you out with this, and see if there are in fact any inconsistencies between the UI and API methods for measurement creation. If you can email me off-list with the specs for a measurement that works in the UI but not in the API, I'll do what I can to track down and fix the problem, or just explain the situation better if it's not a bug.
