When I first installed it, probe 10555 was on a network which supports IPv6. Since then, I have moved it to a different network which does not have IPv6 access at all.
Is there something I should do to let the RIPE Atlas system know that it no longer has IPv6 access? It seems like there should be, but I haven't found it. I would not like for it to be one of those probes which "thinks" it has IPv6 but actually does not...
When they connect to a controller, probes report their IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. If a probe doesn't report any IPv6 address (other than link local) it will not get any new IPv6 measurements. If you look at the graphs for your probe, you will see that they stopped getting updated shortly after you moved the probe. Your probe still takes part in some IPv6 UDMs. But that is mostly because at the moment there is no mechanism to remove a probe from a UDM. Philip
