Traceroute with GRE protocol possible?

Hi, I'm working for a company that gives customers access to PPTP and L2TP tunnels. Some of our customers have internet access via tv cable - without an exclusive public IPv4 address. These customers are more and more having trouble connecting to our systems via PPTP and we can't see any packets on our tunnel routers coming from these customers. A normal traceroute does not show anything weird and goes through to our servers... But with a traceroute --protocol=47 we would be able to find out which system is blocking the GRE packets used by PPTP. Is there any possibility to make GRE traceroutes with the ATLAS probes? Introduction of RIPE Atlas Quick Looks

LIRs can use this service for a quick, real-time assessment of connectivity without hosting a RIPE Atlas probe. This feature is based on one-off measurements that are available to all RIPE Atlas probe hosts. RRDs for pings with 25 probes.

When I create ping UDMs with 20 probes, I get RRDs. When I create ping UDMs with 25 probes, the "visualize" checkbox gets turned off somehow and I don't get RRDs. Is there something funny going on? (or is there something else forcing visualize off that i have miscorrelated with the probe count). --

Fetching results for ongoing measurements

Hi: I've setup my first UDM (thanks Stephane for the code), and when I try to fetch the results, it gives me two different responses: No results or "Sorry, this request could not be processed. Please try again later". If I check the Atlas interface, I see my probes, credits being discounted, but the "my measurements" section is empty. The measurement have been going for 12 hours so far. Is there a restriction regarding fetching results for ongoing measurements, meaning I need to stop it first to be able to get any results, or it's a temporary error, or something else? RIPE Atlas roadmap has a new home

Dear Atlas community, [apologies for duplicates] we determine the roadmap for RIPE Atlas together: based on RIPE NCC internal plans and ideas, and on your wishes and suggestions & needs. After publishing the incremental updates to the roadmap in the RIPE Labas articles and presentations, we now have a permanent location for the RIPE Atlas roadmap: http://roadmap.ripe.net/ripe-atlas/ It is part of the listing of a few RIPE NCC services and their plans. We publish the features in 4 categories: * recently delivered * in progress * planned & * requests We will keep updating this page, every time when one of the features move from "in progress" to "delivered", and so on. Result consumption issues at the moment
