As part of our work at Rootconf, we have launched a new initiative - Netconf - to bring together a community to discuss practice and issues concerning network engineering, network security, network regulations, privacy and access to the internet.
Our first event is an unconference on 27 March, in Bangalore.
We are inviting speakers, participants and collaborators to contribute topics for discussion, talks, workshops and Birds of Feather (BOF) sessions. Topics can cover:
- Monitoring networks - engineering aspects as well as educational aspect of teaching members of civil society on how to use tools and technologies for monitoring networks.
- Network security.
- Access to the internet, covering engineering, regulations, and socio-cultural aspects of access.
- Questions of privacy in the context of using networks.
- Cloud and new regulations concerning cloud
- Others
