i like to send a probe with postal to riga ID 21230.this probe and others do not appear in my ambassadors account. any eperience with this countrand lost probes b shipping? for the moment i have an idea of a translation project for ripe. a lot of m probes did get lost because there is only english supported. iam using wordpress . Will be fine if ripe have something information what isgeneral andeplainthings and what can be posted e.g. in wordpress to announcethat its a translationfor a ripe project.

RIPE Atlas data visualisation hackathon

Dear ambassadors, RIPE NCC is organising the first RIPE Atlas open data hackathon! In short: various groups will come together during the long weekend in Amsterdam, to make new visualisations (or modify existing ones) based on RIPE Atlas data, and to give that SW back to the community. We are inviting: programers, designers, operators, data-lovers, hackers, students... ... so we rely on *you* to help us spread the word to your contacts! Comcast is generously offering prizes and some coverage for travel expenses for several people -- to be awarded/selected by a jury. Dates: 27-28-29 March 2015 (Friday to Sunday) How to apply: https://www.ripe.net/s/XUJy In order to get part of travel expenses covered, the application deadline is 21st January. After that, we will inform those who got selected, and how many more places do we still have available, for either locals or people who can pay their own travel. Dear RIPE Atlas ambassadors, We are happy to announce that RIPE Atlas probes have been restocked. Thank you for helping us to distribute them! We have updated the RIPE Atlas ambassadors procedure. If you want more probes: - As usual, send an email to mcb(a)ripe.net letting us know the shipping address, how many probes you need, and at which events/countries you plan to distribute the probes - You'll receive an auto-reply with a ticket number - The probes will be shipped to you by a third party The number of probes that RIPE Atlas ambassadors can receive will be decided on case-by-case basis. The criteria includes: - The region where you'll be distributing the probes - How many probes, out of the previous probes you have already received, are active Our most important goal is to increase the percentage of RIPE Atlas probes that are *active*, rather than to continue giving out more probes. To help increase the number of active probes, we will send regular email reminders to the hosts that have not plugged in their probe. how to correct (a) mistake in initial probe transfer state?

Dear MCB Team, [apologies for the noise on the list - maybe the Q is relevant to others, too] I gave a way a probe to go to T&T in London and back home in Vienna I registered the transfer on the abassadot page. Unfortunately I (consistently) mistyped the name and email address of the person receiving the probe. Thus my personal mail to her bounced, and I presume the mail from the Atlas System was returned, too. So - how can I correct the mistake?
