Welcome and tips for new RIPE Atlas ambassadors

Dear colleagues, Thank you very much for helping us build RIPE Atlas into the largest, most diverse Internet measurement network possible by spreading the word and distributing probes. To help make it easier for our community to meet RIPE Atlas ambassadors, we’ve created a list of the different events where ambassadors will be available to answer questions and hand out probes: https://atlas.ripe.net/get-involved/community/#!tab-conferences Please let us know if there are any events you’ll be attending, and we will add you to the list. If you want us to list your contact details, please also tell us your Twitter, GitHub or LinkedIn information. You can send these details to mcb(a)ripe.net. We’re also happy to announce that the dashboard view of the probes you've already distributed has been improved. We hope this will help you in your tasks as a RIPE Atlas ambassador, such as following up with hosts who are a bit slow to connect their probes, or those who have maybe forgotten all about connecting them! Below you can find some more tips and resources to help you as a RIPE Atlas ambassador. We look forward to meeting you soon, either in person at an event (hopefully at RIPE 69!) or online. "Your probe shipped" e-mail: please, ignore!

Hi all, Last night a few e-mails with the subject “Your probe shipped” were sent to you. This was not intentional. We have introduced a new feature which e-mails you when a probe is shipped. Unfortunately this feature also affected past probe applications and sent emails about probes that we have shipped to you in the past. We are working on a fix so that you are not going to receive any such e-mails in the future unless you are really receiving a new probe shipment. As ambassador you won’t receive an individual e-mail per probe shipped but a notification about one shipment only which contains multiple probes. Again our apologies for the inconvenience! Probes do not appear in my account

i like to send a probe with postal to riga ID 21230.this probe and others do not appear in my ambassadors account. any eperience with this countrand lost probes b shipping? for the moment i have an idea of a translation project for ripe. a lot of m probes did get lost because there is only english supported. iam using wordpress . Will be fine if ripe have something information what isgeneral andeplainthings and what can be posted e.g. in wordpress to announcethat its a translationfor a ripe project.
