Howdy all, As part of the upcoming Routing Security Summit (17-20 July), we have two measurement related sessions that may be of interest: The Routing Security Research Roundup Thursday, 20 July 11:30-12:30 UTC The research and academic community have been essential in developing and testing routing security products, including Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI). In this session, three former MANRS Research Ambassadors and Fellows will share updates on their past projects and how it has inspired new trains of thought. Featuring: Romain Fontugne (IIJ), Khwaja Zubair Sediqi (Max Planck Institute for Informatics), Thomas Holterbach(University of Strasbourg) and Amreesh Phokeer (Internet Society) The ROV Research Review Thursday, 20 July 13:00-14:30 UTC Research into the success and challenges of Route Origin Validation (ROV) has traditionally been theoretical. However, as more networks validate routes, real-world data and insights are helping researchers to validate old theories and propose new ones. In this session, we will review recent papers coming out of the research community focused on ROV and how these are helping to strengthen the security and resilience of the global routing system. Featuring: Haya Shulman (Goethe University Frankfurt), Cecilia Testart (Georgia Institute of Technology), Tijay Chung (Virgina Tech) and Amreesh Phokeer (Internet Society) Register to attend these and other sessions and tutorials at https://isoc.pub/Routing_Security_Summit_2023
