(Apologies for multiple postings) We invite you to submit your papers to the 17th Cyber Security Experimentation and Test (CSET) Workshop. For 16 years, the Workshop on Cyber Security Experimentation and Test (CSET) has been an important and lively space for discussing all-encompassing or “meta” cybersecurity topics related to reliability, validity, reproducibility, transferability, ethics, and scalability — in practice, in research, and in education. Submissions are particularly encouraged to employ a scientific approach to cybersecurity and demonstrably grow community resources. Papers related to testbeds, experimental setups, or data sets for network security are very much welcome at CSET. For more information, please visit: https://cset24.isi.edu/ For CSET '24, we solicit exciting work across a broad range of areas relevant to security and privacy. A list of topics of interest (broadly interpreted): - Cybersecurity research methods - Measurement and metrics - Data sets - Experimental infrastructure - Education - High consequence cyber systems - Ethics in cybersecurity - Evaluating real-world security controls We consider a broad span of submission types: research papers, position papers, experience papers, preliminary work papers, or extended work papers. We solicit both long (8p) and short (4p) papers. IMPORTANT DATES: Paper submissions due: May 17, 2024 Notification to authors: June 21, 2024 Final paper files due: July 12, 2024 Workshop: Tuesday, August 13, 2024 - hybrid participation (preceding USENIX Security 2024 in Philadelphia, PA, USA)
