[ICNP 2023] Call for Posters/Demos (August 19 extended deadline)

Hello All, Please note that the demo and poster submission for ICNP’23 is now extended to the 19th August. Please consider sharing your work with the ICNP community. =================== Call for Posters/Demos: https://icnp23.cs.ucr.edu/cfd.html ICNP 2023 will hold a poster and demo session to showcase work in progress. The poster/demo session has been a successful regular event at ICNP in past years. These sessions will provide an excellent chance for students and researchers to obtain feedback on their ongoing research from knowledgeable conference attendees. Extended abstracts (2 pages) of the posters or extended descriptions (2 pages) of the demos should be submitted in the Portable Document Format (PDF) only, following the same formatting instructions as for the main conference papers, except that the author names should be included in the 2-page PDF, and their title must bear a "Poster:" or "Demo:" prefix, respectively. The submissions will be reviewed by members of the Poster/Demo Session committee. The abstracts of accepted posters and demos will be included in the proceedings and IEEE eXplore. At the conference, posters/demos must be presented by one of the co-authors. Posters and demos submitted to this call for papers should contain unpublished original ideas and not be abbreviations of published papers. Hello Researchers, The 31st IEEE International Conference on Network Protocols (ICNP 2023), Reykjavik, Iceland, October 10-13, 2023 is offering travel grants for attending in-person. Please check the website and submit your application. https://icnp23.cs.ucr.edu/travelgrant.html Important Dates Submission deadline: August 31st, 2023 Notification of awards: September 15th, 2023 (tentative) The purpose of the Travel Grant Program of IEEE ICNP 2023 is to encourage junior researchers' in-person participation in the conference by partially funding the travel costs for those who would otherwise be unable to attend. People from underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to those who satisfy one or more of the following criteria: * First-time attendees or students from under-represented groups. * Co-authors of accepted papers, including at workshops and posters. * Applicants without alternate means of support. * Show evidence of a serious interest in computer networking, as demonstrated by coursework and project experience. The amount will depend on the applicant’s estimated expenses, our budget, and the number of applications. Howdy all, As part of the upcoming Routing Security Summit (17-20 July), we have two measurement related sessions that may be of interest: The Routing Security Research Roundup Thursday, 20 July 11:30-12:30 UTC The research and academic community have been essential in developing and testing routing security products, including Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI). In this session, three former MANRS Research Ambassadors and Fellows will share updates on their past projects and how it has inspired new trains of thought.
