All papers must be original and not substantially duplicated work that has been published at, or is simultaneously submitted to, a journal or another conference or workshop. All submissions must be written in English and span no more than 20 pages in the Springer’s Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) format (a Springer template can be found in Overleaf), including title, abstract, and bibliography. The introduction should summarize the contributions of the paper at a level understandable by a non-expert reader and explain the context to related work. Submitted papers may contain supplementary material in the form of well-marked appendices. Note that supplementary material will not be included in the proceedings. Moreover, the main paper should be intelligible without requiring the reader to consult the supplementary material. Submissions must be anonymous (no author names, affiliations, acknowledgments, or obvious references). The conference will also consider short papers of up to eight pages in the LNCS format, excluding the bibliography (max 2 pages), for results that are not yet fully fleshed out or that simply require few pages to describe but still make a significant contribution. All submissions must be processed with LaTeX2e according to the instructions given by Springer. Submitted manuscripts must be typeset in plain Springer LNCS format, in particular without changing the font size, margins or line spacing. Submissions not meeting these guidelines may be rejected without consideration of their merits. Dear colleagues, The deadline for the Expressions of Interest to submit a paper to the IMC 2024 Replicability Track is tomorrow! The EoI are a requirement before full submissions of a replication paper<https://conferences.sigcomm.org/imc/2024/cfp/>. IMC 2024 will continue the Replicability Track for submissions that aim to reproduce or replicate results that have been previously published at IMC. Papers accepted to this track will be published in ACM SIGCOMM Computer Communication Review (CCR). Priority will be given to replicability studies, although reproducibility studies are also in scope. For the definitions, please see ACM's site<https://www.acm.org/publications/policies/artifact-review-and-badging-curre…>. The authors of outstanding replicability papers may receive an invitation to present at the main conference. In that case, the paper would also be included in IMC's proceedings (rather than CCR). Submissions to this track are two-phase. Prospective authors are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) via the submission system in the form of an abstract which must explain: * Which paper the authors aim to replicate * Whether the paper will be replicated or reproduced * What the IMC community stands to learn from the replication or reproduction * Chosen approach, and why it will lead to new insights A small committee will evaluate the EoIs and their potential to be of interest to the IMC community. The authors of strong abstracts will receive an invitation to a full submission. The EoI serves to avoid misunderstandings and disappointment for authors as we acknowledge that replicating or reproducing a paper is a very significant effort to which potential authors would commit much time. Full submissions will then be assessed by a sub-committee of the TPC. Full submissions must otherwise conform to the same criteria and rules as full submissions on the main track. The workshop combines presentations of new research in the form of short papers and lightning papers. ANRW'24 accepts the following types of submissions: * Short papers are publications that present new research that has not been previously published. For a short paper to be considered for publication, please submit work describing early/emerging results in a relevant topic area. Position papers are also welcome. There is a 6-page limit for short papers, including figures, tables, and any appendices, optionally followed by unlimited additional pages for references. * Lightning papers can provide a summary of early, emerging, or on-going work as well as short updates of previously published work. Position papers are also welcome. This type of submission will be presented in a short, lightning-talk style. MOTIVATION =========== While AI/ML is today mainstream in domains such as computer vision and speech recognition, traditional AI/ML approaches have produced below-par results in many networking applications. Proposed AI/ML solutions in networking do not properly generalize, can be unreliable and ineffective in real-network deployments, and are in general unable to properly deal with the strong dynamics and changes (i.e., concept drift) occurring in networking applications. Graphs are emerging as an abstraction to represent complex data. Computer Networks are fundamentally graphs, and many of their relevant characteristics – such as topology and routing – are represented as graph-structured data. Machine learning, especially deep representation learning, on graphs is an emerging field with a wide array of applications. Within this field, Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) have been recently proposed to model and learn over graph-structured data. Due to their unique ability to generalize over graph data, GNNs are a central tool to apply AI/ML techniques to networking applications. GOALS ====== The goal of GNNet is to leverage graph data representations and modern GNN technology to advance the application of AI/ML in networking. GNNet provides the first dedicated venue to present and discuss the latest advancements on GNNs and general AI/ML on graphs applied to networking problems. GNNet will bring together leaders from academia and industry to showcase recent methodological advances of GNNs and their application to networking problems, covering a wide range of applications and practical challenges for large-scale training and deployment. The GNNet workshop seeks for contributions in the field of GNNs and graph-based learning applied to data communication networking problems, including the analysis of on-line and off-line massive datasets, network traffic traces, topological data, cybersecurity, performance measurements, and more. GNNet also encourages novel and out-of-the-box approaches and use cases related to the application of GNNs in networking. The workshop will allow researchers and practitioners to discuss the open issues related to the application of GNNs and graph-based learning to networking problems and to share new ideas and techniques for big data analysis and AI/ML in data communication networks. [ICNP 2023] Call for Posters/Demos (August 19 extended deadline)

Hello All, Please note that the demo and poster submission for ICNP’23 is now extended to the 19th August. Please consider sharing your work with the ICNP community. =================== Call for Posters/Demos: https://icnp23.cs.ucr.edu/cfd.html ICNP 2023 will hold a poster and demo session to showcase work in progress. The poster/demo session has been a successful regular event at ICNP in past years. These sessions will provide an excellent chance for students and researchers to obtain feedback on their ongoing research from knowledgeable conference attendees. Extended abstracts (2 pages) of the posters or extended descriptions (2 pages) of the demos should be submitted in the Portable Document Format (PDF) only, following the same formatting instructions as for the main conference papers, except that the author names should be included in the 2-page PDF, and their title must bear a "Poster:" or "Demo:" prefix, respectively. The submissions will be reviewed by members of the Poster/Demo Session committee. The abstracts of accepted posters and demos will be included in the proceedings and IEEE eXplore. At the conference, posters/demos must be presented by one of the co-authors. Posters and demos submitted to this call for papers should contain unpublished original ideas and not be abbreviations of published papers. Hello Researchers, The 31st IEEE International Conference on Network Protocols (ICNP 2023), Reykjavik, Iceland, October 10-13, 2023 is offering travel grants for attending in-person. Please check the website and submit your application. https://icnp23.cs.ucr.edu/travelgrant.html Important Dates Submission deadline: August 31st, 2023 Notification of awards: September 15th, 2023 (tentative) The purpose of the Travel Grant Program of IEEE ICNP 2023 is to encourage junior researchers' in-person participation in the conference by partially funding the travel costs for those who would otherwise be unable to attend. People from underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to those who satisfy one or more of the following criteria: * First-time attendees or students from under-represented groups. * Co-authors of accepted papers, including at workshops and posters. * Applicants without alternate means of support. * Show evidence of a serious interest in computer networking, as demonstrated by coursework and project experience. The amount will depend on the applicant’s estimated expenses, our budget, and the number of applications.
