Howdy all, As part of the upcoming Routing Security Summit (17-20 July), we have two measurement related sessions that may be of interest: The Routing Security Research Roundup Thursday, 20 July 11:30-12:30 UTC The research and academic community have been essential in developing and testing routing security products, including Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI). In this session, three former MANRS Research Ambassadors and Fellows will share updates on their past projects and how it has inspired new trains of thought. The poster/demo session has been a successful regular event at ICNP in past years. These sessions will provide an excellent chance for students and researchers to obtain feedback on their ongoing research from knowledgeable conference attendees. Extended abstracts (2 pages) of the posters or extended descriptions (2 pages) of the demos should be submitted in the Portable Document Format (PDF) only, following the same formatting instructions as for the main conference papers, except that the author names should be included in the 2-page PDF, and their title must bear a "Poster:" or "Demo:" prefix, respectively. The submissions will be reviewed by members of the Poster/Demo Session committee. The abstracts of accepted posters and demos will be included in the proceedings and IEEE eXplore. At the conference, posters/demos must be presented by one of the co-authors. Posters and demos submitted to this call for papers should contain unpublished original ideas and not be abbreviations of published papers. ICNP 2023 will be held in Reykjavík, Iceland, between October 10-13, 2023(icnp23.cs.ucr.edu). Scope The conference is soliciting paper submissions with significant research contributions to the field of network protocol research. Both experimental studies, as well as formal investigations, are equally welcome. How can such community and citizen-based enterprises scale their impact and transform society beyond markets and states? Community and citizen-based enterprises are widely known to foster collective action locally. But what are the mechanisms through which they can achieve wider transformations to tackle urgent sustainability challenges such as climate change? These PhD and postdoc positions offer unique opportunities to delve into these fascinating topics and work together with other team members with expertise from various disciplines.
