Dear Colleagues,
I would like to extend my congratulations to Sasha on her appointment as the 3rd working group chair. I believe she is a great candidate for this role and that she will contribute significantly to the success of the group.
While I had some concerns about the selection process and the treatment of new members, those concerns were directed solely towards the process itself and not towards the candidates. I appreciate the effort that went into considering the feedback.
I also appreciate the commitment to addressing the chair selection process in a more comprehensive manner at the next RIPE meeting. It is important to have clear guidelines and documents to ensure fairness and transparency for future elections, but also to provide all necessary information for new members, and I look forward to participating in the discussion.
Warm regards,
Ines
