Something I spotted that could be of interest to this group:
FYI, the Open Source Security Foundation, LF Europe, and LF Research are
fielding a survey to measure awareness about the recently adopted EU Cyber
Resilience Act on a worldwide scale. The survey should take between 5 and
10 minutes, and closes at the end of this week with the goal being to
publish the survey data and related report by mid-March.

Dear all,
We are pleased to invite you to the 'RIPE NCC Open House: 2024 Community
Projects Fund Recipients'. This event will take place on Thursday, 6
February from 15:00 to 16:30 CET and will provide a detailed look at the
achievements, challenges, and future goals of the projects supported by the
Community Projects Fund (CPF) 2024.
Each project team will deliver a presentation, followed by a Q&A session
where you can engage directly with the recipients to learn more about their
work. The 2024 CPF recipients and their projects are:
- Petros Gkigkis – OpenPenny: An open-source tool to identify non-spoofed
traffic
- Melchior Aelmans – Open Source Distributed Symmetric Key Exchange
Implementation
- Anna Maria Mandalari – Policy Certification and Verification for
Cybersecurity in the Internet of Things (IoT)
- Pere Barlet-Ros – GuardXP: From Data Privacy to Improved Cybersecurity
- Soroush Rafiee Rad – Open Domain Rank: A community-developed measure for
domain reputation ranking based on unique identifiers’ relationships
We will also discuss the decision to pause the CPF for 2025 and share
insights about the fund's future direction.
