Dear Colleagues, On Wednesday, 17 June 2009 at 13:00 (UTC), the RIPE NCC will change both the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses of whois.ripe.net to point to the new whois query cluster. If you have the old IP addresses hardwired, you will be able to continue to use them for one more month. After this, the old whois query cluster will be disabled, and RIPE Database queries and near real-time mirroring (NRTM) will only be available through the new whois query cluster. In order to avoid having to make changes in the future, you should always use the DNS name whois.ripe.net to access the RIPE Database. If you have any questions, please email <ripe-dbm@ripe.net>. Best regards, Agoston Horvath Software Engineer RIPE NCC
