Dear Hank, Max, We investigated this, and there are indeed some irregularities in the policy application with session time outs which, in some cases, could cause inconsistencies. However, if a session times out no data is lost. The history of all changes that have been submitted is kept. We are currently working on a fix. This will be solved completely when the new LIR Portal is deployed and the sessions are managed by the portal server. Please email <sw-bugs@ripe.net> if you need support with this or experience further problems with the LIR Portal. Regards, Trudy Prins Manager Business Application RIPE NCC Hank Nussbacher wrote:

This happened to me too but was unable to prove anything. Back in June/July I remember marking many clients "as not my user" and then suddenly in Sept I noticed that all these users were now marked as "my end user".
I contacted RIPE and they checked the logs and showed how I had only marked my customers as "my end user" in June/July.
I changed all of them back again and left it at that. If you and perhaps others are having their changes disappear perhaps something is indeed wrong there.

Hello!
I am experiencing troubles with Independent Resources
part of the LIR portal. It hangs continuously, goes slow - each page opens more than 1 minute, some time shows 500 error of Java subsystem.
At last, when I tried to save changes about my PI/ASN clients, it cleared all marks I did before, cancel all my work for months.
Am I only such unlucky guy, or there is really something happens there?
