RIPE Atlas User-Defined Measurements Are Here!

Dear Atlas Hosts and Sponsors, We are proud to announce the roll-out of user-defined measurements (UDM) for RIPE Atlas. As of today, all hosts and sponsors are invited to run custom measurements. To access UDM, either click on the link at the top right when you are logged in to the RIPE Atlas website, or go directly to: https://atlas.ripe.net/atlas/udm.html Currently, you can schedule two simultaneous measurements to the targets of your choice, from up to 10 probes. You can specify parameters like the area of the probes, IPv4 or IPv6, timing of the measurement, and type (currently ping or traceroute). And you need to have sufficient amount of credits! For the time being, we have created a fairly low rate limit, which we expect to increase over time. Introducing the RIPE NCC Report Form

Using this form, you can now easily report various issues, including abnormalities in Internet number resource registrations, to us for further investigation. By making it easy to report these issues to us and by putting a clear process in place, we aim to work together with you to further improve the quality of the data in the Internet number resource registry. The first release of the form offers basic functionality. We will review the form, its usage and your feedback before deciding whether further development is needed in the future. Introducing the IP Analyser

Dear colleagues, The RIPE NCC is proud to introduce the IP Analyser. It has been available as a preview in the LIR Portal for several weeks, but now it's time to properly introduce this brand new service that gives our members an insight into their IPv4 and IPv6 allocations and assignments. The ultimate goal is to offer a complete overview of all the IP resources you hold and inform you about everything related to them. The first release of the IP Analyser offers a basic feature set. We will then add new features incrementally going forward. PI and Anycast space marked as INFRA eligible for Resource Certification (RPKI)

Dear colleagues, I am happy to announce that the following Independent Internet number resources are now eligible for Resource Certification (RPKI): - IPv4 and IPv6 Provider Independent, listed in your LIR Portal account as "INFRA" - IPv4 and IPv6 Anycast, listed in your LIR Portal account as "INFRA" You can now create Route Origin Authorisations (ROAs) for the BGP announcements with this address space. Pay careful attention that *all* BGP announcements with your prefixes are RPKI VALID. You can verify this in the "My ROA Specifications" tab of the Resource Certification portal, under "Current BGP announcements". Please visit http://ripe.net/certification for more information.
