[news] 145th RIPE NCC Executive Board Meetings - Summary Notes
Dear RIPE NCC members, The RIPE NCC Executive Board held its 145th Meeting on 21-22 June. The Executive Board publishes the minutes of its meetings so that the workings of the Board and the decisions it makes are transparent for the membership that it represents. The following is a summary of the main items from the meeting. Further details are available in the minutes. ----------------------- Resolutions Adopted ----------------------- - The minutes of the 142nd, 143rd and 144th Board meetings were approved. - The Board approved the proposed amendments to the “RIPE NCC Certification Terms and Conditions”. - Falk von Bornstaedt was appointed to the Board of the Rob Blokzijl Foundation, provided that the Rob Blokzijl Foundation amends the Articles of Association so that the board member appointed by the RIPE NCC Executive Board does not have to be a member of the RIPE NCC Executive Board. ----------------------- Key Discussions ----------------------- - RIPE NCC staff carried out an analysis and reported on factors likely to impact the RIPE NCC in the coming years. - A potential way forward for engaging with members on the development of the RIPE NCC Charging Scheme was presented. - The structure of the RIPE NCC was discussed, with a focus on a workforce that reflects the diversity of the members. - The RIPE NCC management reported on various internal projects and updates including the cloud strategy, TF-CSIRT, and learning and development. - The draft Registry Strategy for 2022 was presented and the Board gave its input. - The RIPE Chair spoke about developments in RIPE, chiefly an update on the Code of Conduct, the scope and future of regional meetings, and the RIPE NCC’s cloud strategy.
