Dear RIPE NCC members, The General Meeting (GM) will take place today at 16:30 (UTC+2). This is your opportunity as a member to discuss our activities and give input on the issues that impact our organisation. At this GM, members will vote on three resolutions, including the RIPE NCC Charging Scheme 2023. There is also an election to fill two seats on the RIPE NCC Executive Board. All registered attendees will receive an email shortly after registration closes at 14:30 (UTC+2) with the link to the virtual meeting platform. The link to vote in the GM will be sent in another email just before the GM begins, and voting will become active after the Chairman declares it to be open. The agenda, information about Executive Board candidates and supporting documents for the GM are available at: https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/gm/meetings/may-2022 ATTENDING ONSITE If you are attending the GM in person, you need to check in at the GM Registration Desk after you have registered. You will receive a sticker that you need in order to enter the GM. The GM Registration Desk is located at the RIPE 84 registration desk. We ask that you check in and pick up your sticker as early as possible. RIPE 84 Relevant presentations for the GM also take place in the RIPE NCC Services Working Group session at RIPE 84. There will be updates from our Managing Director, our COO and our CIO. There will also be a presentation on how sanctions are affecting the RIPE NCC from our Chief Legal Officer. Register for free at: https://ripe84.ripe.net For any GM-related questions, please email <agm@ripe.net>. We meet at the GM every six months, and given the way things seem to change so quickly nowadays, we need to get direct input from you to make sure we stay on track and continue on a course that members want. So I ask that you register for the GM by 14:30 (UTC+2), take part in discussions, and vote on the matters that ensure we continue to be a member-led registry. Kind regards, Fergal Cunningham Head of Membership Engagement RIPE NCC
