What We’re Doing for You -- Your LIR Stats LIR STATISTICS Number of LIRs: 25,322 (-6) LIRs with IPv6: 16,674 (+62) Policy transfers in May: 604,160 IPv4 addresses (-23,040) -- End of the Payment Period Extension After a three-month extension, the payment period for the 2020 invoice is now ending. We are pleased to see that most members have already paid, and we thank you all for that. For those who haven’t paid yet, we will send reminders to do so on 1 July 2020. We will also include a questionnaire that will help us determine if there are issues preventing members from paying their bills. During the event our staff and other IPv6 experts looked at IPv6-only in data centres, ISPs, enterprises and more. We’re about to launch our second digital badge ‘IPv6 Fundamentals - Analyst’ in the coming weeks. Before we do that, we try to ensure that exam questions are aligned with the tasks professionals like you carry out as part of your jobs. Your Technical Update -- Locked Person Objects Cleanup On 3 June 2020, we cleaned up locked person objects in the RIPE Database. Affected LIRs and resource maintainers were notified by email. You can learn more about the cleanup at: https://labs.ripe.net/Members/ed_shryane/cleaning-up-locked-person-objects-i... -- From Zero to RPKI Hero We recently participated in a live demo showing how to create ROAs, using two different validators - the RIPE NCC Validator and the NLnet Labs Routinator - and how to configure routers from four different companies (Nokia, Cisco, Juniper and Arista). What’s Happening in Our Community? -- EuroDIG 2020 Live Blog The 12th edition of EuroDIG, the pan-European Internet governance event, took place from 10-12 June 2020.
