What We're Doing For You -- LIR Stats Number of LIRs: 23,704 (-18) LIRs with IPv6: 16,146 (+6) IPv4 Addresses Transferred in March: 2,146,304 (+1,287,236) -- RIPE NCC Charging Scheme 2022 / GM Supporting Documents Published The RIPE NCC Charging Scheme 2022, to be voted on during the RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) May 2021, has been published. The Executive Board proposes to continue with the existing fee model in 2022 but to reduce the sign-up fee to lower the barrier for new members to join. All supporting documents for the RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) May 2021 are now finalised and available at: https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/gm/meetings/may-2021/documentation... -- Improving Mitigation of Web-based Threats In order to help mitigate Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks against our web infrastructure, we have started testing Cloudflare’s DDoS protection services in parts of our production environment. We have seen an increase in the amount and severity of attacks in recent weeks, and this measure will give us added protection. Your Technical Update -- RPKI and AS3333 On 19 April 2021, we decided to “eat our own dog food” and started to perform Route Origin Validation on our own network, AS3333. So far, we have received very positive feedback about the initiative.
