RIPE NCC General Meeting October 2013
Dear members, The RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) was held 16-17 October 2013 adjacent to the RIPE 67 Meeting in Athens. There were 97 attendees, excluding RIPE NCC staff and observers from the other Regional Internet Registries (RIRs). There were four resolutions to be voted on at the GM. The results of voting on the resolutions were as follows: Resolution 1 - The General Meeting approves the new RIPE NCC Conflict Arbitration Procedure Yes - 291 No - 9 Abstain - 47 The resolution passed. Resolution 2: The General Meeting approves the changes to Article 8 of the Articles of Association (increase maximum number of Board members to seven) Yes - 267 No - 47 Abstain - 29 The resolution passed. Resolution 3: The General Meeting approves the changes to Article 9 of the Articles of Association (removal of requirement for Board to choose a candidate to ensure an Executive Board election) Yes - 252 No - 62 Abstain - 28 The resolution passed.
