What We’re Doing for You ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Your LIR Stats LIR STATISTICS Number of LIRs: 25,147 (-137) LIRs with IPv6: 16,312 (+13) Policy transfers in December: 702,720 IPv4 addresses (-50,944) -- RIPE NCC Activity Plan and Budget 2020 The RIPE NCC Activity Plan and Budget 2020 is now available. The RIPE NCC Executive Board has approved the definitive document with input from our membership. It outlines the work we will undertake in the coming year and the associated costs for each activity. The document is available at: https://www.ripe.net/publications/docs/ripe-735 -- RIPE NCC Billing Procedure 2020 We are currently preparing your invoices for this year, which we will send to all members in February 2020. If you want to see how we will calculate your annual contribution or you need payment information, please refer to the RIPE NCC Billing Procedure 2020: https://www.ripe.net/participate/member-support/payment/ripe-ncc-billing-pro... -- De-bogonising 2a10::/12 A few months ago the RIPE NCC became the first RIR to receive an additional /12 IPv6 allocation (2a10::/12) from IANA. We will soon begin to delegate space from this IPv6 block to LIRs. Prior to this, to improve routability and minimise the risk of filtering, the RIPE NCC will perform several de-bogonising activities in the next few weeks. Please don’t forget to update your bogon filters and allow routes originating from 2a10::/12 in your network. -- RIPE NCC Academy Reopens on 27 January! Our colleagues are currently working hard at updating our e-learning platform with new content and better modules. We will re-launch the Academy on 27 January. Save the date! On the My Resources/Sponsored Resources Overview page: -We’ve added flags IRR (Related Route(6) Objects Found) and RDNS (Related Domain Objects Found). These flags show if resources have Route(6) and Domain objects. 2. On the Resources Details page: - The aforementioned flags are also available here. - We’ve added tables with listed related Route(6) and Domain objects. These tables, as well as tables with more specific resources, are now scrollable. 3. You can now query the RIPE Database with flag: --sources or -s -- Your Upcoming Webinars We are pleased to announce our upcoming webinars scheduled for January, February and March 2020. Your Technical Update ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- RPKI Validator 3.1 Documentation We have updated our documentation on the RIPE NCC RPKI Validator 3.1 to provide you with better guidance on how to install it. This application allows operators to download and validate the global RPKI data set for use in their BGP decision making process and router configuration. You can view the full documentation at: https://rpki.readthedocs.io/en/latest/rpkivalidator3/index.html -- RIPE Atlas New Software Probes Will Go Live in February After passing the testing phase, the RIPE Atlas software probes are ready to go live. The software probes work as regular RIPE Atlas probes without the need to use a dedicated RIPE Atlas probe hardware. Seven projects will receive funding, and you can read the full list of recipients along with a description of their project at: https://www.ripe.net/support/cpf/funding-recipients-2019 -- RACI: Last Chance to Apply We encourage all students, academics and researchers from across our service region to apply for the RACI grant.
