Call for Volunteers for RIPE NCC Panel of Arbiters
[Apologies for duplicate emails] Dear Colleagues, The RIPE NCC Executive Board is seeking volunteers to the panel of arbiters in accordance with the requirements of the RIPE NCC Conflict Arbitration Procedure and the RIPE NCC Articles of Association. Remco van Mook stepped down from the panel of arbiters due to his election to the RIPE NCC Executive Board. The panel of arbiters has expressed the wish to increase its number to ensure the minimum requirement is met that the panel of arbiters consist at all times of at least six people and to spread the work across a broader base of arbiters. The following six people currently make up the panel of arbiters: - Jaap Akkerhuis, RIPE DNS Working Group Co-chair - Kurt Kayser, Self-employed - David Kessens, RIPE IPv6 Working Group Chair - Olof Kolkman, Internet Architecture Board Chairman - Keith Mitchell, former RIPE NCC Executive Board Chairman - Wilfried Woeber, RIPE Database Working Group Chair The Executive Board asks for your assistance in providing suitable new members of the panel of arbiters. The Executive Board will then appoint several arbiters, depending on the number of volunteers. These appointments will be presented to the RIPE NCC General Meeting on 17 November 2010 for approval by the membership.
