Dear colleagues, The IANA Numbering Services Review Committee will assist and advise the NRO Executive Council when it conducts periodic reviews of the services that the IANA Numbering Services Operator provides to the Internet Number Community. The committee was required as part of the Internet Number Community's proposal to replace US Government oversight of the IANA functions and will become active upon completion of the transition process. The representatives from the RIPE NCC service region on the committee will be the two community-elected NRO Number Council (NC) members and one RIPE NCC staff member who will be appointed for a three-year term by the RIPE NCC Executive Board.
