Reminder: RIPE NCC Membership Survey 2008

Dear Colleagues, On Tuesday, 28 October 2008, a reminder email with a link to the 2008 Membership Survey will be sent to LIR contacts. The mail will be sent by the industry market research firm, TNS NIPO, and the sender address will be <webint(a)tns-nipo.com>. We ask that you please take the time to read the instructions in the email and complete the survey. The survey will remain available until Friday, 14 November 2008. The goal of the survey is to give all members the opportunity to voice their opinions and provide input on the RIPE NCC and the services it offers. This feedback will be used to help the RIPE NCC evaluate its current operations and plan future services and developments. TNS NIPO will conduct the 2008 RIPE NCC Membership Survey independently from the RIPE NCC. All individual responses will go directly to TNS NIPO and will remain anonymous to the RIPE NCC. If you have not received an email linking to the survey, then please email your LIR contact details to <ncc(a)ripe.net> with "Membership Survey" in the subject line to request that the survey be sent to you. RIPE 57: Services and Activities Available During the Meeting [Apologies for duplicates] Dear Colleagues, During the RIPE 57 Meeting, 26-30 October 2008 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Dubai, the following services and activities will be available to meeting attendees. RIPE NCC Services Centre ------------------------ RIPE NCC members and non-members are welcome to visit the RIPE NCC Services Centre, where representatives from the RIPE NCC's Billing and Registration Services departments are available to answer questions. You can also book appointments with RIPE NCC staff in advance using the online booking form at: http://rosie.ripe.net/services-centre.php Is this your first RIPE Meeting? -------------------------------- If this is your first RIPE Meeting, the Newcomers’ Introduction Talk, held on Sunday at 12:30 in the Salon I-III, provides a useful overview of RIPE, the RIPE NCC and how the RIPE Meetings are structured. The RIPE Meeting Meet & Greet Team will also be available throughout the week to help you get acquainted with how the meetings work and who’s who. Dear Colleagues, To ensure that the RIPE NCC continues to meet its members' needs, the RIPE NCC will launch its 2008 RIPE NCC Membership Survey this week. The RIPE NCC has commissioned the industry market research firm, TNS NIPO, to conduct this independent survey. On Wednesday, 15 October 2008, an email with a link to the 2008 Membership Survey will be sent to the LIR contact email address provided for each LIR. The survey can only be completed by following the instructions in the email. We ask that you please take the time to read the email and complete the survey. The survey will remain available until Friday, 14 November 2008. Dear RIPE NCC member, The RIPE NCC Autumn General Meeting (GM) 2008 will be held on Tuesday, 28 October 2008 from 16:00-19:00. It will be held adjacent to the RIPE 57 Meeting, which takes place from 26-30 October 2008 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. REGISTRATION ------------------------ The closing date for online registration is *tomorrow, Tuesday, 14 October 2008*. You must register for the GM separately from the RIPE 57 Meeting. As a member, you can attend the RIPE NCC Services Working Group session and the members-only section of the GM without being registered for RIPE 57. See below for further information on the RIPE NCC Services Working Group session. You can register for the GM online at: https://lirportal.ripe.net/lirportal/meeting/registration-general/meeting.h… In the event that your organisation is to be represented by a director or an authorised employee, the registration form should state the name(s) of the employee(s) or director(s).
