Hello RIPE NCC members, It's the end of August and many of us are getting back to work and school after a summer break to a "new normal". Here's a look at what's been happening over the past month at the RIPE NCC: 1. What We're Doing For You -- Your LIR Stats LIR STATISTICS Number of LIRs: 25,252 LIRs with IPv6: 16,704 IPv4 Addresses Transferred in July: 2,117,120 -- Executive Board Election Task Force The Executive Board Elections task force have submitted their findings in a draft report to the Executive Board. Your Technical Update -- Our First Glance at the Belarus Outages We recently took a look at what our tools and datasets had to tell us about the scale and impact of the Internet outages that hit Belarus on 9 August. What's Happening in Our Community? -- Our View on the Upcoming Digital Services Act The European Commission is expected to put forward its proposal for the upcoming Digital Services Act by the end of 2020. [news] The IPv6 Fundamentals – Analyst Exam Is Live

Dear colleagues, The IPv6 Fundamentals – Analyst exam is now live! You can use your LIR’s vouchers to schedule a RIPE NCC Certified Professionals exam using our online exam platform. The IPv6 Fundamentals - Analyst exam is intended for individuals who are familiar with best current practices in IPv6. It certifies your ability to calculate IPv6 subnets, create an IPv6 addressing plan and recognise the application of IPv6 transition mechanisms, among other skills. We would like to thank the RIPE community members who supported the exam creation process by writing and reviewing questions, and also answering our Job Task Analysis survey.
