NWI-5 - OUT-OF-REGION ROUTE(6)/AUT-NUM OBJECTS We have deployed the changes for NWI-5 in the Release Candidate environment so users can test their scripts and tools in order to prepare for the production release on 4 September. Dear colleagues, This is a call for nominations from the RIPE NCC service region to fill one vacant seat on the Number Resource Organization (NRO) Number Council (NC). The three-year term of Nurani Nimpuno ends on 31 December 2018. The election to the NRO NC seat will take place during the RIPE 77 Meeting to be held in Amsterdam from 15-19 October 2018. All members of the Internet community who are present at the RIPE Meeting may vote in the election. The deadline for nominations is 21 September 2018. Any individual residing within the RIPE NCC service region is eligible for nomination, except Regional Internet Registry (RIR) staff members. Self-nominations are permitted. Dear RIPE NCC members, On behalf of our Executive Board, I invite you to register for the RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) October 2018. The GM will take place from 17-19 October 2018 in the Hotel Okura in Amsterdam, adjacent to the RIPE 77 Meeting. The meeting will be webcast as it happens and full remote participation is available for those of you who want to participate in the discussions and vote remotely. You can register to participate and vote at: https://www.ripe.net/s/gm-registration-oct-2018 The GM is where RIPE NCC members can discuss the operations and activities of the RIPE NCC. At the upcoming GM, RIPE NCC members will discuss, among other things: - The Draft RIPE NCC Activity Plan and Budget 2019 - Redistribution of the RIPE NCC surplus/deficit to the membership (to be voted on) - Reports from the RIPE NCC Executive Board and RIPE NCC Management All supporting documents will be posted and announced to the membership by 19 September 2018.
