RIPE ATLAS probe and yearly membership dues
ASN coverage for RIPE ATLAS probes is just 5.6% (based on: https://atlas.ripe.net/results/maps/network-coverage/) That really doesn't give a complete global view for stats. Rather than return money to LIRs every year in their bill, why not state that any LIR running an active probe within their ASN (open to definition) will get a 50Euro credit on their bill? That alone would increase ASN footprint coverage quickly within RIPE. Regards, Hank
I don't think that can be linked to excess membership fees, but some extra motivation won't hurt IMO. -- Regards, Terrence Koeman, PhD/MTh/BPsy Darkness Reigns (Holding) B.V. Please quote relevant replies.
