The last time I spoke up on this mailing list was in anger, and too harsh. I feel that I should give praise where praise is due too. The last two weeks I have been at APNIC in Singapore and ICANN in Malaysia as an NRO NC/ASO AC member, and I have to say that the RIPE NCC, and especially Noelle Starliper, did a wonderful job in organising the flights and hotels for me. Little things like making sure I can check in to the hotel early after a long night flight make all the difference. And of course offering me to fly business class on such a long flight helps too ;) I got to introduce myself to the ICANN board, and had great conversations with Chris Buckridge about the state of the RIR system, amongst the many other people I met. I feel this was a very useful trip for me as an NRO NC member, and many thanks to the RIPE NCC to make this possible. Cheers, Sander
