Hi all, Thanks for the input. This is something we are looking at and we will come back to the members on this when we have properly investigated the possibilities. I’d like to note that we will do the same for all the other suggestions that are coming in. We’ll be following the list closely and we appreciate getting this input on how we could make positive changes. And, while I’m here, I should note that we had planned to continue or start consultations with the members on some issues such as the future charging scheme model. Given the current situation, we think it is best to focus right now on keeping our members and critical services operational. We would prefer to come back to these matters at a time when the full membership can be involved in discussions. Kind regards, Fergal On 11/03/2022 14:14, Sander Steffann wrote:
Hi Fergal,
We will ensure we do not close any members who are unable to pay due to the war.
I'd like to see that converted into an official RIPE NCC policy: "LIRs that are unable to pay their membership fees due to an armed conflict in their region, and who otherwise comply with all policies, will not be closed down because of non-payment"
Something like that in the official docs? :)
Cheers, Sander
