As far as I know, Internet standards are accepted collectively, and this
does not require person to be internet czar.
My personal experience - if the idea(technical) is really good, worked
out in detail and well prepared -
it will be accepted from anyone.
And almost always in the process of technical discussion in relevant
workgroups, ideas are adjusted and finalized.
Can we see somewhere a previous technical discussions, in relevant
workgroups, where all these proposals
were discussed, improved and seems rejected for an apparently unfair
reason?
And, in general - trying to force on everybody technically poorly
thought-out decisions using power -
is an extremely bad idea.
