Dear Max, all, We will ensure we do not close any members who are unable to pay due to the war. We have received quite a few requests from members in Ukraine asking that we send them an invoice. So we plan to do this but also make clear that we will not close them for nonpayment while this war is ongoing. We are closely following the discussions here and elsewhere on this topic. Please know that keeping our members operational under these circumstances is our main focus at the moment and our administrative requirements should not concern them during these difficult times. We also gave this assurance to the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine in our response to his correspondence with us: https://www.ripe.net/publications/news/announcements/ripe-ncc-response-to-re... Hi All,
as you now there is a huge russian military invasion in Ukraine.
The communications, especially Internet access, is one of the most important things during this time.
Unfortunately, almost all ISPs facing with a financial impact of war because of non-payment crisis. A thousand of Euros is a huge money now even for big companies.
I think it is a good idea to support Ukrainian ISPs and postpone payments for LIR for them until the end of the war.
Please, do support of this proposal.
Thank you all!
