Hi all, Hold on. As everyone knows, Syria has been in a state of civil war since 2011, Georgia survived the invasion in 2008, Iran has been under tough sanctions for many years, Iraq, we all know about Iraq, Lebanon experienced turmoil in 2019 and explosion that devastated capital city in 2020 and unofficial capital controls since 2019, which made payments to RIPE a big struggle. Therefore i agree that the redistribution of payments of specific country due to invasion or natural disaster is possible only if RIPE position on this matter is formalized and applied equally to all RIPE members. For example, i know that Lebanon and Syria are now in a very difficult economic situation, on the edge of famine, and for them even an additional payment of $100 is a huge amount. I'm speaking about situation in region as foreigner living in Lebanon. P.S. It may be worth setting up a payment assistance fund for the affected countries, where those who can afford - can contribute. Denys Fedoryshchenko
