Hi, they need to subscribe with another e-mail address. Unsubscribing is not good enough as the RIPE NCC will subscribe them again in 24 hours. Every LIR needs to have an e-mail address subscribed to the members-discuss mailing list and this is not optional (as far as I know) :) I am still waiting for a reply from the RIPE NCC regarding the auto-responders. I am surprised that it takes them so much to reply, I was sure there was a solution already implemented for this issue as it has been reported numerous times in the past decade.
