Pardon me for interrupting. But is it such a hard concept for everyone to meet in the middle and agree that we should all probably pay a little less? I want the same thing, but of course *we* should pay less, and *you* should pay more. And I can find lots of arguments why this is more fair (like, because we build this whole thing that you can now take for granted, or something else).
So, a reasonable compromise seems to be "all members pay the same", and this is what members vote for, multiple times.
