New LIRs pay a dedicated entry fee on top for the onboarding process which involves the most of typical „hand holding“…
I.e. in my case the RIPE had to support with only one additional message regarding my company details in the membership forms. Since then i did not had any manual interaction with RIPE support / staff as LIR.
