Hi Andrei,
All our results are included in paper that is attached to this letter. I would like to ask how our method may be used in RIPE Test Box for calculation of available bandwidth. Probably we should to make a report on IETF session (in Beijing ?).
Two comments: 1. If you want to make this method one of the standard measurements on the testboxes, then you should make a proposal to the mat-wg@ripe.net list. The proposal can be discussed on the list, if there is consensus in the working group to do this, then the NCC can be formally asked to implement this (probably in close collaboration with you). 2. In order to present this at the IETF, you'd have to contact the ippm@ietf.org list. If there is sufficient interest in the IPPM Working Group, this method can be turned into the standard metric for measuring available bandwidth. Please read the "Tao of the IETF" for more details on the process.
