Dear colleagues, I hope all is well with you. Just a quick note to remind you about the RIPE NCC Open House event happening on Wednesday, 27th September, from 10:00 to 11:30 UTC. It's an excellent chance to hear firsthand updates from the recipients of last year’s Community Projects Fund and to engage in meaningful dialogue with project leaders. The agenda includes presentations where each project will provide an overview of their journey and accomplishments so far. Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A segment for any questions you may have. Seven years ago, we took our commitment a step further by introducing the Community Projects Fund. This initiative was designed to tackle the funding challenges faced by many noteworthy projects in our community. Dear MAT friends, During LACNIC 40 (Fortaleza, Brazil) [1], there will be a session of the Internet Measurements Working Group (IMWG) on Friday 6 October 2023. The IMWG is a new working group with similar goals of MAT but focuses on creating bridges among academia, researchers, and network operators in the LACNIC region. The mailing list of the IMWG is imwg(a)listas.nog.lat Since this year the LACNIC and RIPE events will be more than a month apart, I'm asking here help in creating the agenda for IMWG. The IMWG is looking for presentations on Internet measurements, network data collection, data analysis and tools. Please, submit your presentation proposal by September 22 by sending an email at imwg-owner(a)listas.nog.lat We prefer talks of 15min. Include in your email a title, a draft of the presentation, a paragraph describing what you will talk about and why the topic is of interest for the community, and if you are planning to present in person or remotely. Hackathon on Network Interference using Open Data at IMC 2023 in Montreal (October 23, 2023)

Dear all, The Internet Society, M-Lab, OONI, and Censored Planet invite you to join the IMC Hackathon on Network Interference using Open Data in Montreal on 23 October 2023, the day before the IMC Conference takes place (24-26 October). We are looking for participants interested in exploring, analyzing and visualizing network measurement open data from different sources to extract meaningful information about network disruption events. We invite people from various backgrounds (e.g. economists or social scientists), including those who might not work directly with network disruptions and still want to contribute, to apply. Open House: RIPE IPmap and Infrastructure Geolocation

Dear colleagues, This is a reminder that the RIPE NCC Open House: RIPE IPmap and Infrastructure Geolocation is taking place this Friday, 19th May at 09:00 UTC (11:00 CEST). This Open House is for anyone interested in RIPE IPmap, the RIPE NCC's API for getting geolocation data for core Internet infrastructure. It will be a sixty-minute remote session where RIPE NCC staff will share context and information about RIPE IPmap, and invite questions and discussion from the community.
