[Apologies for duplicate mails] Dear Colleagues, The RIPE NCC Executive Board has announced that the 2003 annual General Meeting will be held adjacent to the RIPE 46 Meeting in Amsterdam from 14.00 to 17.00 on Friday, 5 September 2003. It is hoped that this new date will enable more of the RIPE NCC membership to attend, and participate in, the annual General Meeting. Thanks for listening on the matter of co-hosting the AGM with a RIPE meeting. Now, could someone please point me, off list, to the rules and processes that govern how the RIPE AGM is undertaken ? As per my previous e-mails, I intend - if personal circumstances allow - to attend this year and to express my (and others) opposition to the current charging model and pricing. I want to make sure that any points, motions etc. are done correctly before hand, so that technicalities will not get in the way of the matter at hand. I am not a civil servant, professional beauracrat or academic, so I would appreciate a 'laymans guide' to the RIPE AGM process. rgds, -- Peter Galbavy Knowtion Ltd.
