Can any of you experts confirm/deny the suspicion voiced here about Novell's less than useful abilities in subnettting?

I found it difficult to believe but, if true, it's a significant failing -- perhaps not so much in our community as elsewhere.

Bob, we use class C subnetting (on a subnetted class B network) and have for some time with packet drivers and LAN WorkPlace for DOS. What it doesn't do is arp properly and we have to use proxyarp.
