New "helpdesk" mailbox for members! <lir-help@ripe.net>
Dear all, We are happy to inform you of a newly created mailbox within the RIPE NCC! The following mailbox is available for all RIPE NCC members to use: <lir-help@ripe.net> To accommodate some wishes raised within the RIPE NCC membership, this mailbox has been set up to serve as a form of "helpdesk" within the Registration Services, available to RIPE NCC members only. The purpose of the <lir-help@ripe.net> mailbox is offer assistance and help to our members, further facilitating the process of requesting IP Address Space from the RIPE NCC and communicating useful information. The mailbox is responded to by experienced RIPE NCC hostmasters and will be given priority over more general questions to ensure a fast and accurate answer to your queries. As a member you can use this mailbox for general policy questions as well as very specific questions related to a particular on-going request. PLEASE NOTE: As it is restricted for members only, it is important to include the Reg-Id of your organisation in all mails sent to <lir-help@ripe.net>. (The Reg-Id can be included in either the subject line or the body of the message.) Any mails that do not include a valid Reg-Id will be bounced to allow the hostmasters to concentrate on member questions, ensuring a fast response time for <lir-help@ripe.net>.
